I like this Nick Cave better

On our recent fact finding mission in San Francisco we went to the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and saw Nick Cave's super exciting sound suits. There were videos and photographs and a large installation, which included a giant globe covered in dismantled sequin dresses and a very convincing polar bear, similarly assembled from sweaters. Each piece was overwhelmingly beautiful and I got a little extra mileage out of it all because there were a few very appreciative children visiting at the same time. So, I got to enjoy a part of the show once and then a second time through their eyes. Magic. Definitely, visit YBCA if you do nothing else when in San Francisco. Find out more about Nick Cave and YBCA HERE.

Leviticus Jewelry

My taste for the unusual and slightly morbid gets harder to satisfy as time goes on, but these designs hit the spot today. Leviticus Jewelry makes adornments out of antique oddments such as body tags or brothel tokens using brass chains and other materials that stand up well to their strange burdens. Sure, they're a little goth and little steam punk but they're far more imaginative than the usual run of that mill and, as you can see by the lobsters above, not everything is antique. Check it out HERE.
